Hands-on Learning Experiences

Kahua Pa’a Mua often invites various local groups to visit our farm and see the different hands on projects. These visitors get a first hand look at the work conducted by our Mentors and Mentees. Groups have included medical students from University of Hawaii to middle school gifted and talented students from Colorado.

KPM conducted a Farm STEM Tour with University of Hawai’i’s Health and Medical students. Laupahoehoe Community Public Charter School High School STEAM (science, technology, engineering, agriculture and mathematics) students visited the farm where they were able to learn practices of Korean Natural Farming and Animal Husbandry.
