Community Lei Contest: Lei Wili & Lei Kui

Community members submitted one lei wili and one lei kui each, created with fresh greens and flowers. Judging focused on balance, technique, and thoughtful, local materials. The entries were creative, skillful, and full of aloha.

Vegetable Growing Contest: From Seedling to Showcase

Those Kamehameha Day seedlings (tomatoes, eggplant, squash, pumpkin) became the starting point for a friendly Vegetable Growing Contest—aiming for the biggest, healthiest produce while sharing tips along the way.

These activities were made possible through the Kamehameha Schools Kaiaulu Grant—mahalo for fueling ʻāina education and community connection.
